

Eight year old Tod (Colin Petersen) has spent his life being dragged around the world by his neglectful, con-artist father. While in England, he runs into a teacher who shows concern, attempts to help. When Tod's dad decides to race off to South America, the teacher offers to look after the boy, play the role of guardian for a year. Now surrounded by people who love him, our little hero blossoms..., but how is he to react when his true parent returns? A solid, entertaining classic; recommended!
