A man just released from serving a prison sentence for having sexually involved himself with a preteen girl tries to get his life back in order with the help of a psychologist. As he evolves up the corporate ladder, a romance with a coworker develops; trouble is, she has a young daughter (Amanda Black), roughly ten years old. When a reporter who covered his trial spots our hero and the lass alone together at a fair, an article is written which threatens all he has gained. Who will stand by him? Who won't? Although a bit tainted by environmental theories of sexuality, this is a rather intelligent portrait that avoids stereotypes and presents its characters as real, believable people; recommended!

Warning (rated NR): sexual themes; adult themes; mild violence; mild profanity.
