Here, a lass named Lotta (Grete Havneskjold) has her fifth birthday, causes some trouble with her brother (Martin Andersson) and sister (Linn Gloppestad), roughly eleven and nine years old, tries to graduate from a tri- to a bicycle, almost becomes a vegetarian while visiting her grandparents at their farm. Set in more modern times and in a less rural area than other Lindgren tales but similar in its slice-of-life look at being a kid. Very cute!
