NOTE: THIS FILM IS IN RUSSIAN WITH NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES OR DUBBING. An infant boy is abandoned in the hills after his mother attempts suicide. There, a couple find and then raise him. Sixteen or so years later, our young hero is smitten with a female peer, much to the annoyance of her brutish father. Might the lad win his love and perhaps learn about his true heritage by the time the ending credits role? A well done, pretty film; think of a Russian Romeo & Juliet to get the idea.
