A narcissistic woman fulfills herself by entering her eldest daughter (Ashley Lister), roughly eleven, in beauty contests. In the process, the youngest daughter (Clara Bryant), nine or so years of age, is neglected. Might the lass find emotional satisfaction via other routes? A clever, often funny look at the role of appearance for females; recommended!
Warning (rated NR): mild adult themes.
