A successful businessman travels to the Amazon to divorce the wife who ran away from him long ago and there learns that he has a son (Ludwig Briand) of twelve or thirteen years of age. The boy, who has been raised in a tribe of Indians, is pleased to meet his father and manages to convince dad to take him back to Paris with him. Under the big city lights, our young hero's "savage" ways conflict with "civilization," but when the lad falls in love with a female peer, returning to his village in the jungle isn't a pleasing option. This comedy was a smash hit in France and was later remade into Jungle 2 Jungle. The video release has been long awaited by many. Briand, by the way, wears his hair long all the time.

Warning (rated PG): mild profanity; mild sexual themes; mild violence.
