Well, my German isn't so hot, and, unfortunately, this is all this title is to presently be found in (Note: NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES OR DUBBING ARE OFFERED IN THIS MOVIE). Yet, let me give you the synopsis I've thus far come up with: Henry and Anna have been in love since childhood, but shortly after the death of Henry's father, Anna moves; many years later, they once more run into each other, rekindle their passion, yet not without a few complications standing in the way. The first thirty minutes or so are dedicated to the childhood years and are pretty easy to follow; the young Henry and Anna, both about ten years of age, do fine jobs and are rather convincing (at least from what one can judge via their postures and tones) as little lovers. The rest of the movie is lushly photographed and appears quite good; trouble is, for those of us not so fluent in German, it is a bit hard to follow. Someone definitely needs to subtitle this one and put it into NTSC format (Note: THIS FILM IS IN PAL FORMAT; PLEASE STATE IN ANY ORDER FOR IT THAT YOU RECOGNIZE THIS AND UNDERSTAND WHAT PAL FORMAT IS; IT WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNLESS THIS IS DONE).
Warning (rated NR): sexual themes; sexual scenes; moderate nudity; violence; adult themes.
