Emma (Line Kruse), an eleven year old girl from a loveless, aristocratic family, stages her own kidnapping after her mother denies her a kitten. On the streets, she literally runs into a dimwitted sewer worker with a criminal history; the two quickly become friends, and the girl finds herself staying at his place. Together, they teach one another some important lessons about life. But, what will the cops think of the relationship once they start connecting pieces of the puzzle together, learn where Emma is hiding out? Does tragedy await? An absolutely beautiful story about Platonic love and the respect two people, despite a difference in age, can form for one another. Highly recommended!

Warning (rated NR): minor adult themes; mild profanity.
