Feeling unloved by his materialistic parents, nine year old Benny runs away from home. After a nap on a park bench, he witnesses two thugs beating on a man, is tossed a role of microfilm which makes him their next target. At home, his mother starts to worry, but her husband, who suspects the boy is not his, has little interest in finding the lad. So, the woman calls up two ex-lovers, tells them both that Benny is theirs. Things get complicated when the two men meet, find out they are both looking for the same kid. Yet, each is convinced the other is the fraud, battle the issue out as they search for their "son." When Benny is finally found, he is not so sure he wants three "dads," races off to once again be captured by the criminals. Will his "fathers" save him before it is too late, and which one of them is the real papa? Part of the Hong Kong Action genre, but more of a comedy than anything else; lots of "goofy" fun! Based on the French film Les Comperes.
