Boys In Love is a collection of 4 gay short films. The first, Death in Venice, CA, has a professor visiting the beaches of California to escape the stress of work. At the home where he is staying resides a seventeen year old boy (Rob Keith) who far from hides his homosexual interest in the new tenant. Can the man come to terms with his repressed feelings before it is too late? An evident update of Death In Venice, but full of enough twists to make it stand on its own. Achilles utilizes puppets to retell the legend of this Greek hero and his young lover. The often funny My Polish Waiter follows a young man who has the hots for, well, a Polish waiter. Finally, Miguel, Ma Belle shows how a gay man with AIDS finds a sense of value by taking care of a dog. A nice addition to the gay shorts genre.
