An original tale (and, yes, there is a reason for that) about a social worker who gets a new case looking after a family with a grown man who still acts and is treated like an infant, diapers, thumb-sucking and lots of crying included. It doesn't take long for her to learn that the fellow is capable of more, that mother has simply put a stop to her son's mental develop in fear that "Baby" would otherwise one day grow up and leave home. When it becomes apparent mom also isn't too willing to change her ways, our heroine gets tough, kidnaps the man-child for her own. Who will end up with "custody" following a showdown one dark night? If you can guess the ending, you're pretty darn clever. Goofy and very odd, but equally fun and of interest; I personally enjoyed despite expectations I wouldn't. Sorta recommended *grin*!
Warning (rated NR): violence; adult themes; sexual themes; brief profanity.
1973; 80 minutes; Note: the print includes some minor speckling, and there are a couple of other small glitches to be found; David Manzy, Anjanette Comer, Ruth Roman, Mariana Hill, Suzanne Zenor.
